The second movement: a practice movement for escapement and balance
33 parts, 29 assembly units, regulated at the end, and then it runs. The practice movement is ideal for getting started and shows that Shatterwork is built for many movements.
Runs in the development version. Shatterwork is not yet public.
Shatterwork was meant for more than one movement from the start. Now the development version has its second: a practice movement that concentrates entirely on the heart of a mechanical watch, the escapement and the balance.
Small, but complete
- 33 parts
- 29 assembly units
- 5 oiling points
- 4 sub-assemblies
Regulating at the end
Once everything is in place, you regulate the movement. Then it starts to run, and you can watch it work, in slow motion too if you like.
Ideal for getting started
If you have never put a movement together, you learn the first moves here on just a few parts. After that, the first movement, the ETA 7750, is waiting with 193 assembly units.
