Shatterwork

Assemble real mechanical watch movements, part by part, with tweezers, screwdriver and oiler at a virtual workbench.

  • Real mechanical movements
  • First movement: an automatic chronograph
  • More movements to follow

New from the workshop“My movements”: what you have built goes into the display cabinet

In development. Not yet publicly available.

The teaching model of the first movement, drawn apart into its layers: rotor and automatic winding, chronograph, bridges and cocks, barrel and gear train, mainplate, winding stem and crown, calendar and setting mechanism, dial and hands.

The workbench and its tools

You work the way a watchmaker works. Every part is picked up with tweezers, every screw is driven in with the screwdriver, and every oiling point gets its drop from the oiler. A movement holder keeps the work steady while you look closer through the loupe.

  • Tweezers for every part, from the mainplate to the hands

  • Screwdriver for every screw

  • Oiler for every oiling point

  • Loupe magnification from 1× to 6×

  • Movement holder holds the movement while you work

Movement after movement

Shatterwork is made for many movements. Each one brings its own parts, its own assembly order and the sub-assemblies a watchmaker prepares first, such as the balance on its bridge or the shock protection. At the start you choose which movement to build. More movements will follow.

Teaching models, not official products of any watch manufacturer.
